Dear Forum Artists,

I have recently read and seen some of your work on websites about the way that some of you use art as a survival technique and I find it very imaginative. It’s good to see as an art student myself that art can be therapeutic and change people’s way of life.

When researching some of your work on the internet I found a few pieces that I like especially the works of Maureen Oliver my favourite piece is called “Experience of Psychosis” and I love the dove and serpent website.

This piece I think is fascinating I love the way it is full of bright colours.
To me the figure behind the girl looks like some kind of a demon looking over her shoulder, the way her hair is all risen she seems really scared by this.

The flame in her hand reminds me of how people can be stigmatised within society.
