GOOD REASON TO FEEL PISSED OFF – ESPECIALLY WITH PSYCHIATRY

I won’t keep you in suspense. It’s about being seriously ill – physically – and knowing there is a very good chance psychiatric treatment, in particular antipsychotic drugs and lithium carbonate, are largely responsible. It’s the cardiovascular disease, coronary artery disease, kidney disease – any of them sound familiar? It’s me. I’m having to give up chairing Perceptions Forum so I can get some ease before I die. Sorry to everybody I’m letting down. I suppose psychiatry should really apologise – but they never do – for never telling me the risks of the “treatments” they forced on me. Being as they were forcing them on me it might not have made any difference to the outcome – but it would have been polite. I mean an executioner does not make a secret of what he/she is about to do to you. But then psychiatrists are not executioners. I wonder what a suitable term would be to describe them. Thanks Drs Death at least I knew before it was too late (to know that is).

Yes I’m pissed off with them but this is just the latest reason to be. I’ve been pissed off with them for one reason or another for decades. Not that I’m going to let any of this spoil my fun. I’m going to have as good a time as I can while I can.

But let’s have two cheers for psychiatry. It’s a bit of a sick joke but I’ll repeat it “Don’t go to see a psychiatrist unless you want to die”. So all you diagnosed schizophrenics out there just remember they’re taking years off your life while taking away your highs and lows, sometimes making a zombie of you etc etc ECT ECT. Face them with it and see how they go silent on you. Just be careful they don’t try to make out you’re telling them because you’re depressed – ECT ECT.

I have many fond memories of life but none of psychiatry.
