Publication of Issue 35 of www.perceptionsforum.org.uk which is actually
the same as www.voicesforum.org.uk![[Invasion of the Monastery]](invmon3.jpg)
Hi to ALL!
It's chuffing to know that issue 35 of the Perceptions Forum site is now online, and there's a considerable amount of fascinating stuff to have a look around!
There are pictures, and there are letters, and there are articles, and commentaries, cartoons, and news.
The news isn't as new as the sort of thing that's on at ten o'clock, but it adds to the set of events www.perceptionsforum.org.uk/events.htm , in particular the results of the Martha Robinson Poetry Competition with special commendations. There have been some changes, as per www.perceptionsforum.org.uk/changes2.htm
The Monastery has been invaded, as you can see by the picture Invasion of the Monastery by Amy Ford www.perceptionsforum.org.uk/invmon.htm - the picture is rather cryptic.
If you've followed the events in "Mobile phones or lighters not allowed", www.perceptionsforum.org.uk/notalwd.htm by Angel, you may like to read the sequel "Snow on the Lawn" www.perceptionsforum.org.uk/snowl23.htm
The
continuing adventures of Mickstup Mouse and Frisco Duck by
Criddles can be seen in a
new pair of
cartoons at www. perceptions forum .org.uk/ mickst9.htm
There are various interesting pieces of art, for example "Spoons" and "Sunset and Sea", both of which can be seen at Chris Barchard's art gallery 3 www.perceptionsforum.org.uk/chrisar3.htm
The article "Bad Mental Health" www.perceptionsforum.org.uk/badhlth.htm is by Terry Simpson and states "Bad Mental Things Come From Pain , Not Illness", and then there's a response to this by T.Playford at www.perceptionsforum.org.uk/responst.htm
Responses are very much the thing in the Sue Makevit Letters, from a variety of people, and you can read these at www.perceptionsforum.org.uk/suelets.htm - interesting stuff!
We have also received a letter from Holland by Bill G., www.perceptionsforum.org.uk/lett-nl.htm , because, in case you hadn't guessed, there is madness in the Netherlands too. (A clue to this is the existence of great art!)
There's a curious story "Being a parent with mental health" by M. Strong at www.perceptionsforum.org.uk/parentmh.htm
"An Appointment with the Therapist" has something about it like the tale of "I don't want to go to school", at www.perceptionsforum.org.uk/appthera.htm
And then there's "Psychiatric Truth" and whether it is valid or a mere expediency, at www.perceptionsforum.org.uk/psytruth.htm
Both of the these are by Grégor Samsa.
There's much discussion about "Recovery", and sooner or later the word may go on the list of things not to talk about over dinner, along with religion and politics. However, there's an interesting discussion about it by S.Hastie at www.perceptionsforum.org.uk/recovery.htm
Finally, if you missed the previous e-Newsletter, you can read it as it's been carefully stuffed and mounted at the page www.perceptionsforum.org.uk/news34.htm
Well that's about it for this issue of Perceptions Forum.
I hope you have time to read it,
and to browse around the site www.perceptionsforum.org.uk which is the same site as www.voicesforum.org.uk![[Perceptions Forum logo]](perlogo3.jpg)
There are getting to be quite a lot of pages at this site. Have fun!
Kind Regards to ALL!
